Maniac Monday

Quick Maniac Monday post, I am trying to get ready for our camping/road trip. I am so excited!
We are going to camp in Zions with my sister and her family for about 3 nights then we are headed North to visit some of My hubby's family and then back down again for my Brother in Law's wedding and then heading home the day after the wedding. It's going to be a long crazy and awesome trip!
So I  won't be here to do Maniac Monday for the next 2 weeks. But  I do hope that whoever is following and reading is enjoying the series and getting inspired at least a little bit!
This week of coarse we did Easter fun-ness.

I forgot the 'F' in Crafts. So it says, "CRATS ROCK!"
LOL

I forgot the 'A'. It should say Maniac Monday.
LOL I don't know what my problem was, HAHA.

These were for our Easter Baskets. I used the Creat a Critter cricut cartridge.

Mine didn't turn out that great. The color would bead off after a while, but it was really coo to try.
Plus my little people did it, so they mixed the colors all together. HAHA
Easter was a great day for us and I really appreciate being able to spend the day with my family and my friends from Church. I am so grateful for my religion and the beliefs that we have,  and for the Savior and His Son!
Hope you all had a great Easter, and I'll be back in 2 weeks!

Maniac Monday

Hey all, I'm trying to keep up with my goal of doing Maniac Monday. Every Monday  am going to post a new craft that I did during the week and crafts that I made specifically for Maniac Monday.
This weekend was General Conference for my church, and it was awesome! I really enjoyed the messages and the quotes and talks that were shared from our leaders. It meant a lot to me that I had the chance to watch it with my family, even though my girls are 5 and 3 so they weren't paying attention. But it was still a wonderful experience.
Easter of coarse was mentioned being that next week IS Easter Sunday, so in honor of getting ready for Easter, I made an Easter card!

I used paper from Oriental Trading company that I have had for so long, I just love the colors and they have really cute little bunnies and chicks on it. But I decided to just use the solids make my own bunny with the create a critter cartridge. I used a prima flower, and a pearl adhesive opaque and the Say It In Style stamp from CTMH for the phrase.

Obviously I used the bunny from the cartridge and  I used the grass from the alligator image. In the paper pack was a a piece of paper that had a bunch of borders on it that you could cut it out, so I used the blue one instead of ribbon. Then there was one that had a bunch of eggs on it, so I cut some of the eggs out and placed them on the card. As you can all tell now, cutting by hand is NOT one of my specialties. Lastly I added the liquid glass to the eggs and the bunny's ears, nose, eyes, and cheeks.
I had a lot of fun with this card and hopefully it will get me into the Easter spirit.
Here are some ideas that I have in mind to do with the kids for Easter, but we will see if any of them happen. We are leaving the Monday after Easter for Utah.

I hope you all have a great Easter and I really will try to do some of these with my girls and post, but if  I forget or don't have time, Please forgive. We are going camping and then to take my sis in law to college then to my bro in law's wedding. It is going to be a bust 2 weeks, but  I can't wait!
Bye-Bye,
